Who's behind this
Neither of us had a map. So we each built our own.
Legacy Labs was founded by Giovanni Dubois and Amalia Cardenas, who built their own investing systems the hard way and now teach one together.
Fifteen years in Silicon Valley: robotics engineering, then strategy consulting, then building partnerships in education technology. My income grew faster than any plan I had for handling it. In my twenties I contributed to a 401k, then cashed it out. In my thirties I picked a few individual stocks, mostly to see what would happen. None of it was really a plan.
My path ran through sociology, a PhD, then a shift into tech. Different field, same gap. I had real money sitting in the market from my time at Microsoft, and couldn't bring myself to open the account. It felt like too much, so I avoided it, year after year.
Nobody in either of our families had managed money at this level. So we each built our own system, the hard way, separately. Then we decided to build it once, properly, for people starting exactly where we did. Invest Confidently is that system.

Shouldn't I already know how to invest?
Most of the professionals we work with were never taught this, not by their families, not in school. Not knowing isn't a personal failing, it's just what happens when nobody teaches it.
